Plasma therapy, also known as plasmolifting, is a treatment in which we use the best your body has to offer — your own blood plasma — to nourish your skin. It contains everything needed for the rich renewal of the subcutaneous tissue, from growth factors to essential vitamins. The plasma is injected into the desired area using fine needles, resulting in brighter, more nourished, and, above all, healthier skin.
Blood plasma contains growth factors, stem cells, platelets, and white blood cells that regenerate the skin and naturally trigger rejuvenation processes. This is the great advantage of plasmolifting — only your own biological material is used, making the entire process completely natural for the body. The plasma can be applied to any area of the body and is most commonly used for the face, neck, décolleté, and the backs of the hands.
Procedure
The doctor will take a small amount of your blood and mix it with a special gel-like substance. The test tube containing the blood mixture is placed in a special device, where the plasma is separated and centrifuged at high speed. The entire procedure is performed under local anesthesia.
Uses and benefits of plasma therapy:
- Skin rejuvenation
- Regeneration of skin cells
- Prevention and reduction of ageing
- Reduction of wrinkles
- Smoothing of the skin
- Improves sagging skin
- Accelerates healing
- No allergic reactions
Details about the procedure
The treatment takes about one hour. Beforehand, an anesthetic cream is applied to the treated area for 30–60 minutes to ensure the procedure is painless.
Injecting plasma into your subcutaneous tissue results in skin that radiates health — nourished, hydrated, and full of essential vitamins.
No special preparation is required.
Small puncture marks will be visible on your face for a few days, after which they disappear — and you will feel the full effect of the treatment.
The price depends on the number of test tubes used, i.e. the size of the treated area. Approximately from 6,000 to 12,000 CZK.
It can be done in any season. We most recommend it in winter and summer, when the skin is under the greatest stress.
For example: phototherapy, laser, chemical peeling.
